A New York native, Jeff is a founding partner of Allen+Wohrle, LLP, where he litigates entertainment, intellectual property and general business disputes for clients in the entertainment, advertising, graphic design and manufacturing industries. Jeff has been practicing law in California and New York for nearly a decade. Jeff is a graduate of both Cornell University and the University of Pennsylvania Law School and is admitted to the state bars of both California and New York.

Prior to founding Allen+Wohrle, LLP, Jeff was the managing partner of a boutique law firm in northern California where he provided litigation services and transactional support to several international corporations, one of which he helped take public on the Bombay Stock Exchange. During this time Jeff also provided the legal services necessary to initiate and complete the merger and acquisition of several privately held companies.

Jeff also was an associate at a premier Los Angeles-based law firm where he assisted the record industry in its seminal on-line music file-sharing action against Napster. Jeff also was the lead attorney for the plaintiff in a dispute between two mobile telephone distributors in which fraud, trade secret theft, and unfair competition were alleged. After an eight-day arbitration, Jeff secured a nearly $600,000 award, plus $100,000 in attorney’s fees

More recently, Jeff represented an Arizona-based, nationally known, custom motorcycle company that was sued by a major international toy manufacturer for trademark infringement.  Jeff successfully negotiated a settlement in which all of the claims against the motorcycle company were dismissed without the payment of a single dollar.  Jeff also defended an action to quiet title in a multi-million dollar estate, the ownership of which had been in dispute for nearly two decades.  After only three months as lead attorney on the case, Jeff secured the dismissal of all but one cause of action and ultimately negotiated a settlement with the plaintiff which resulted in a six-figure payment to his client.
